Abstract

Introduction: Asthma is the most common chronic disease in children and is one of the most common complaints of pediatric emergency patients. Intestinal microflora is important for evolution and immune system, the evolution of intestinal normal morphology and the maintenance of long-term immunological inflammatory response. In this study, the effect of adding probiotic powder in children with mild to moderate asthma to standard treatment and the effectiveness of these supplements in reducing the severity and number of asthma attacks has been evaluated. Material and methods: In this study on 120 patients from 3 to 8 years old pediatric clinics will take place after the consent randomly assigned to two groups are to participate in this project package Probiotic and plasebo powder was provided to parents of 120 patients with mild to moderate asthma. Results: Out of 120 samples analyzed, 63.3% were 76 men and 36.7%, respectively, 44 women. Adding therapeutic supplements, such as probiotics, to standard therapy can not help improve the symptoms of children with mild to moderate asthma and there is no statistically significant diffrence (p>0.05). In a better way, adding probiotic supplementation to standard treatment does not improve symptoms such as the frequency of coughing sprays and sleep control in children with mild to moderate asthma. Discussion & Conclusion: According to the results of this study, the use of probiotics reduces the symptoms and complications of the asthmal attack. Therefore, it is recommended that different microorganisms, such as probiotics and their effects, are investigated.
