Abstract

Introduction and Objectives: Considering that the appendix is anatomically located near the ureter ;and the lack of development of the omentum in children; if the infection spread inside the abdomen; before create peritonitis symptoms ;impressed ureter .and perforation in the early hours probably be positive in urine test that can the early diagnosis of appendicitis in children and will help a lot. Materials and Methods: This study is cross sectional in child under 18 by detecting the likelihood of appendicitis .in patients that appendicitis or perforation proved in operation room ;.white and red blood cells count and pH level examined and cell count and pH level in simple apendicitis and perforated analyzed . Results: A total of 210 patients were studied, with an average age of 12/06±4 / 02.among 210 patients, was 114 mail and 96 females and 18 macroscopic perforaition and 11pathologic perforation .Average WBC in patients with perforation pathological 2/54±1 / 91 and average it out on people without perforation pathological 2/71 ±2/71 The mean RBC individuals with perforation pathological 2/61 ±2 / 63 mean that the individual s perforation pathological 2/51 ±2 / 48 the mean pH 5.22 ±0.51 mean that individuals with out pathologica perforation 5/17 ±0 / 56. Conclusion: The result not showed significant correlation between the perforated appendicitis ; white blood cells,red blood cells and urine pH level. Therefore U/A dose not help the early diagnosis of perforated appendicitis. Keywords: perforated appendicitis, urine pH level, Count of urine RBC and WBC
